Claxon Presents
Terms of Service
Last updated 4 November 2026
1 Your Agreement with Claxon Presents
Who we are
Claxon Presents is the culture and events brand of Claxon Tournaments Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202134509D), 68 Circular Road #02-01, Singapore. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the company acting through Claxon Presents.
Who you are
“You” means anyone who books or attends an experience, joins our community or works with us through Claxon Presents. This includes guests, creators, performers, clients and brand partners.
What these Terms cover
These Terms cover our role in events we run or co-host, our official community spaces, the Claxon Creators Network, and our event management, sponsorship and campaign services. At a partner event, check the listing to see who sells your ticket and which activities we deliver.
What you agree to
We make these Terms, our Code of Conduct and the event details available before you book or take part. By choosing to book, register or take part after receiving that notice, you agree to the terms presented to you.
- Group bookings. Share the rules with each guest. You can accept for someone else only if they have authorised you.
2 Fees and Booking
- Your ticket. Check what it includes. A festival pass may get you into the venue, while a stage, screening or meet-and-greet has a separate queue, reservation or capacity limit. Check your listing to see whether it includes the afterparty.
- Booking confirmation. An interest form, campaign application or request for updates does not reserve a place. Follow the confirmation steps in the listing.
- Before you pay. Check the price, currency, fees, entry window and transfer rules. Use the booking channel named in the listing.
- Ticket transfers. Keep your ticket code private. Check with the seller before giving your booking to someone else or changing a name. We may refuse tickets that are duplicated, altered or obtained by fraud.
3 Eligibility and Parental Approval
- Age and supervision. Check the admission rules for each session. A daytime event, film screening and late-night afterparty may each have a different age limit.
- Parental approval. If you are under 18, get your parent’s or legal guardian’s approval to take part. Where required, they also need to approve your booking or engagement. Venue age limits and film classifications still apply.
- Proof of age. Bring the identification specified in the listing or by the venue. At licensed events in Singapore, only guests aged 18 or older may buy or drink alcohol.
- Venue access. Follow the venue’s rules on permitted areas, bags, props and re-entry. If you need a particular access arrangement, contact us before booking.
4 Changes, Cancellations and Refunds
If you change your plans
If you change your mind or miss the event, the cancellation and transfer conditions shown before purchase apply, subject to your legal rights. If a venue or ticketing partner sold the ticket, use the seller shown on your receipt. Contact us if you need help identifying the correct channel.
If we change the event
- Programme changes. We may reasonably change the room, lineup, running order or programme for safety, capacity, artist availability, venue requirements or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will announce material changes through the booking contact or official event channel and take reasonable steps to reduce disruption.
- Cancellation. If we sold you the ticket and cancel the event before delivering it, we will refund the ticket price paid to us.
- Postponement or material changes. If we postpone the event or materially change the experience you bought, we will explain your options. If you decline the replacement, you can choose a ticket-price refund.
- Partial delivery and other costs. If an event ends early, we consider what was delivered and applicable law. Separate travel and accommodation bookings remain your responsibility, subject to applicable law.
5 Taking Part and Staying Safe
At the venue
Follow our Code of Conduct and staff directions. We may check tickets, stop an unsafe activity, restrict access or remove someone where reasonably necessary for safety, a serious rule breach or a venue requirement. Any decision about a refund following removal takes account of the published booking terms, the circumstances and applicable law.
Games, trades and vendors
- Game sessions. Follow the published format and the organiser’s rulings. Ask the session lead before trading, selling or running a side activity.
- Independent vendors. If you buy directly from a vendor, that vendor handles the sale, product description and fulfilment. Tell the event team about suspected scams or unsafe products.
6 Event Media and Intellectual Property
Claxon Presents coverage
We may photograph or film public event activities for coverage, recaps and promotion of Claxon Presents, with appropriate notice and any required consent. Speak to the event lead about a recording concern. For published material, email the event name and a link or timestamp. We will review material under our control and explain available options.
Personal recordings and sponsor advertising
- Photos and short clips. Ask before taking a close-up or posing with someone. Follow venue and performer instructions, respect no-camera zones and check what the rights holder allows.
- Screenings and performances. Get permission before recording a film, livestreaming a performance, selling footage or using someone’s work in advertising. Buying a ticket gives you admission to the experience.
- Sponsor advertising. Event coverage may show sponsor branding. We do not give sponsors permission to use our event images or footage in their advertisements.
7 Joining the Claxon Creators Network
Joining and accepting work
You can join the network for free and work with other organisations. When we find a campaign that fits your work, we send you a brief with the proposed work and fee. You choose whether to accept. Membership alone does not guarantee a booking or give anyone permission to use your content in advertising.
What we agree with you before work begins
- The brief. Before you start work, you and Claxon Presents agree in writing on what you’ll deliver, when you need to attend, your fee, expenses and payment dates. Together we also agree on approvals, revisions and cancellation terms. If you work with an agent, you tell us who can approve the engagement on your behalf.
- Content rights. You keep the rights to your original work unless you agree otherwise in writing. You and Claxon Presents agree on who may use the content, on which channels, in which territories and for how long. Together we also agree on editing rights, paid advertising and any exclusivity.
- Changes and disclosures. As the creator, you obtain the permissions you need for material you supply, disclose paid or gifted collaborations and respect agreed embargoes. If the brief changes, you and Claxon Presents agree on any changes to the fee, timing or usage rights before you do the extra work.
8 Working with Clients, Brands and Sponsors
- Bookings. We prepare a quote based on your brief for event planning, production, sponsorship placements, creator collaborations and campaign delivery. We reserve dates, performers, placements or category exclusivity when you and Claxon Presents confirm them under the written agreement.
- Commercial terms. The accepted proposal or agreement sets out the work, approvals, payment schedule, costs of changes and cancellation. It takes priority for that engagement.
- Assets and results. You and Claxon Presents each obtain the permissions needed for the materials you or we provide. Published attendance, reach and engagement figures describe past results. If we agree to guarantee a minimum result, you and Claxon Presents record the minimum and the agreed remedy in the signed scope.
9 Privacy and Responsibility
Your information
We use booking and contact details to operate the event or engagement, and share necessary details with relevant booking, venue or production partners as explained when we collect them. For privacy requests or concerns about images, email dpo@claxontournaments.net. Please keep sensitive details out of public comments.
Responsibility and liability
Take reasonable care of your belongings, equipment, costumes and trading cards. We are responsible for our own acts and omissions as provided by law. Where the law allows, we exclude indirect or consequential losses and lost commercial opportunities. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or removes rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
10 Complaints, Governing Law and Updates
Getting in touch
- Booking questions or complaints. Email events@claxontournaments.net with the event name and booking reference.
- Business enquiries. Email events@claxontournaments.net.
Governing law
Singapore law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory rights that apply to you. Singapore courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere. An unenforceable provision does not affect the rest so far as it can still operate.
Updates
We date revisions and give notice of material changes. Existing bookings and accepted briefs remain subject to their agreed terms unless a change is agreed or required by law.
